About Our Two's Program

Our philosophy is that play is essential for cognitive, social, and emotional development. Prioritize the individual needs, interests, and developmental stages of each child. Help children recognize and express their feelings, developing empathy and social skills.

Our Classroom Goals:

  • Encourage sharing, taking turns, and cooperative play with peers.
  • Help children identify and express their feelings in appropriate ways.
  • Introduce new words through stories, songs, and conversations to expand vocabulary.
  • Provide hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage exploration of the environment.
  • Encourage creative activities, such as drawing, painting, and crafting, to explore self-expression.

Two's Daily Schedule

6:30am -8:00am Arrival/ Free Play

8:30am – 9:00am Morning Snack

9:00am – 9:30am Music & Movement 

9:30am – 10:00am Circle Time

10:00am – 10:30am Large Group/ Classwork

10:30am – 11:30am Outdoor Play/ Centers

11:30am – 12:00pm Lunch

12:00pm – 12:15pm Clean up/ Pull-ups

12:15pm – 2:30pm Nap/ Rest Time

2:30pm – 2:45pm Afternoon Snack

2:45pm – 3:00pm Reading

3:00pm - 3:45pm Centers

3:45pm – 4:45pm Outside Play/ Centers

4:45pm – 6:00pm Small Group/ Dismissal

Birthdays 

  • You may bring a special snack/ lunch for your child 
  • No gifts may be given
  • Please provide enough for 8 students
  • Please let us know beforehand if you plan to bring in a snack or lunch for the class so we can let the parents with children with allergies to be prepared to bring something separately for their child. 
  • Food must be delivered
